Parent & Family Support Group
When Christian parents or family members first learn of a loved one coming out and being part of the LGBTQ+ community, they often face a period of isolation and a questioning of their beliefs.
Called to Love is an ecumenical group of parents and family members wanting to love, better understand and support their LGBTQ+ children and loved ones. We have found on our own journeys that having a safe place of Christian peer support is critically important for strengthening relationships with our children and loved ones.
Group discussions are confidential and utilize recognized books and resources that are inclusive/affirming and help guide the sacred journey of reconciling our faith with our family’s new reality.
Our parent & family support groups meet online and in-person in local churches or facilities that are “traveling companions” with us. Please reach out to us to find out when the next group will begin.
